April 3rd, 2008 - The Savant team launched design and prototype efforts on their next mashup application based on their Boomerang framework; a web based system for tracking carbon impact. Currently in the concept / prototype stage, this application is being created for a major energy provider.
March 13th, 2008 - Bruce Henderson, leader of the Savant team at OSG, appeared as a panel member in the "Centers of Excellence" Roundtable discussion.
March 12th, 2008 - Our banking data visualizer, based on concepts from gampinder.org's Trendalyzer and a mountain of FDIC data, has received wide acclaim. It has now appeared in such notable web sites as O'Reilly Radar, Portfolio.com, and the Guardian UK.

February 14th, 2008 - The Savant team has joined the SOA consortium! While our approach is somewhat different than what is traditionally thought of as SOA (XML based RPCs), our lightweight, agile adapters have proven themselves many times to be an excellent alternative to traditional "deep" service stacks.
