OSG is delivering the mashup enterprise to Fortune 500 companies. We are using the latest open-source and custom developed frameworks to produce purpose built tools for our customers in finance, energy and hospitality. We have developed a new technique to quickly provide Sr. Executives of Fortune 500 companies with on demand information via the web.
The Web Designer role is a communication expert, they can create compelling interfaces for mashup applications based on application concepts documents, and work with the engineering team to refine the business need into a compelling application. This position will be responsible for the visual design of the web site from concept through HTML coding and delivery, and will work closely with software engineering to create the final product based on our customer's requirements. Our timelines are aggressive, and our focus is on fulfilling the needs of the business user. A successful candidate will be able to step in and help translate business need into compelling web applications through solid design skills and web coding techniques.
Job Requirements
• This is a Los Colinas, Texas position
• Position is contract transitioning to permanent.
• 3+ years in Internet graphic design or production team
• Proficient in HTML, XSL, XHTML/CSS development and maintenance
• Good communications skills
• Ability to prioritize work
• At least 3 years of developing under Photoshop, Dreamweaver.
• Experience working in a Java environment
• Intermediate to advanced skill level in HTML, CSS and DHTML
• A desire to help shape the future of enterprise mashups
